The Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose by five tenths of a percentage point in August, to 2.71 PPP3T, mainly due to the rise in the price of fuels and lubricants, according to the leading indicator on the evolution of prices in Spain published on Thursday by the National Statistics Institute (INE).
